Mille bravos Samir....
Sûr que muni de ses sept choeurs ce premier bijou t'apportera beaucoup de plaisir.
Et merci de nous avoir offert cette aventure en continu...
En attendant avec impatience les finitions....

Finaly a little update.
I have the fingerboard on but not quite level yet.
I am almost done the binding.
the oud is taking forever to complete.
I am looking forward to the next one already. I have made a few to many mistakes that I will surely not repeat in the future. However, it sure made a
dent in my motivation and that is partly why I have been dragging this...
Ok now I have to look forward to making a rosette.
does anyone have any resources for that?
how about some images of typical Nahat rosettes? the simple kind of course :P

Forever? Nah! I wish I had your patience.
I had a question.
Is there a ratio in regards to string length used to determine neck to body joint?

the string lenght is 59 cm long.
the finger board is 19.6 cm (1/3 of lenght)
the bridge to neck joint 39.3 cm ( 2/3 of lenght)
This is the ratio to be observed for the appropriate note distribution on the finger board.
