String buzzing at the neck

Hello, my oud buzzez at the neck. it seems the face is a little swollen at the edge close to the neck which causes buzzing when i play on the lower strings, especially in a high position on the neck.

I've taken it to be fixed by a known luthier, took off the entire face and sanded down a few centimeters of the bowl, close to the neck, which caused the face to sit lower, but the problem is has returned a little. Another man who fixes many instruments told me he's never seen anything like this - is it a known problem? What solutions can I find?

Tahnks

Hello Masel,
I really can't help you and my intention is not to laughing at you.
But when I read the description of your problem, I have a question.

Have you bought your oud at the son of a famous and venerable Iraqi oud player who claims his ouds are the best ever ? :D
(If you see who I am talking about.)
If yes, it is a very special oud.
They know the problem very well
and they have a solution :
go to Hungary to learn to play oud correctly.

Robert

ps : Sorry to write here off topic, but I couldn't resist. And I think it very important not to forget that story.

He Masel,
I actually never read tips and advise section. but here I'm. I'm happy you like your oud
could you mail me a picture of the area where the buzz is and point it with your finger. any buzz issue has something to do with high frenquency vibration.
could you also tell me which strings buzz more thank other.
you can also mail me to discuss this issue.

thanks

samir

Best regards, Samir
