risha ud picks for sale?where?
hey just wondering if anyone knew where i could get some ud picks, Rishas, my ud teacher gave me one but i would like some spares. I live around
chicago so if you know a store in the northern illinois area that would be great. Maybe a web address where i could purchase some. thanks guys.

I like the rishas from Viken Najarian at http://www.oud.net. He has a Turkish type, and a pointy flexible plastic type. The later is what I prefer, I find them easy to shape the tips
with sand paper and a file. These are probably the most widely used type of plastic rishas.

hello,
A cheaper solution might be as simple as going to your local home improvement store. Cable ties are sold there, escpecially the 3/4 or an inch
variety. If anything you can then take sand paper if not a file and file away untill you get the size that you wish. They sell them in packs and the
cost should be quite resonable.
